Ability Level: Intermediate to Expert

Description: This course is open to experienced sculptors who possess strong chiseling skills and want to learn or improve their use of advanced tools and techniques, or who simply wish to pursue an independent project under the expert guidance of our master carvers.  Some carvers may choose to work from a model using measurements systems while others may be drawn more to free carving methods.  Our staff will communicate with enrollees in advance of the workshop to ensure that their projects are feasible, and to make tool and material recommendations.

 

  • Participants are required to submit portfolio images indicating they have sufficient experience to undertake this course.

  • Participants are required to bring the appropriate safety gear.

  • Participants must bring, rent or purchase their own hand, pneumatic tools, or power tools.
